Youngest Indian Shooter to win Medal in Asian Games

15years old, Shardul Vihan, from Meerut, U.P. became Youngest Indian Shooter to win medal in Asian Games. Shardul won Silver Medal in Men’s Double Trap event at Palembang, Indonesia on August 23, 2018.

Vihan, a class X student of Dayawati Modi Academy in Modipuram, U.P. was unfazed by the presence of experienced shooters double his age. The bronze winner is almost triple his age. He took to shooting seriously only 4years ago, under the tutelage of Shamli-based coach Anwar Sultan.
